PROCESSUS DE FABRICATION DES EMPREINTES
Au démarrage, j’enveloppe la sculpture dans une toile et trace au toucher ses contours, lignes directrices, reliefs. Ensuite je retravaille cette ébauche comme une suite de la narration de la sculpture mais toujours en préservant sa morphologie. Je renforce certaines traces, aspérités et choisis parfois une interprétation colorée éloignée de la pigmentation d'origine.
La nouvelle oeuvre constitue à la fois la mémoire du volume et celle du corps à corps qui a permis de le retranscrire. Un tableau qui éternise la sculpture dans le temps et où présence et absence cohabitent.
